Worship, Prayer and Lollipops

I really love children! I serve in the 3 & 4 year old class at Calvary. I am so blessed to love and be loved by the children. We are learning about Paul & Silas. The kids are so excited to learn. They are so amazing! They know what is most important and they have such beautiful joy and trust! I have a stamp on my hand of Jesus with the children around Him. He loves the little children! Sometimes we lose that childlike faith and I am so thankful that God has placed a desire in my heart to serve children. They help me to remember that it's all about loving Jesus with all our hearts. Jesus loves me this I KNOW. The kids loved how Paul and Silas sang praises and prayed in jail. I tell them often that they can talk to God any time , any place. They can talk to Him when they are sad or happy. Then one pipes in and says" when we are afraid". Another one says "when we are hurting" and "when we are mad". I tell them that He always has His listening ears on:) He loves to hear your voice. It is a reminder to me to trust in Him and KNOW Him and KNOW Jesus loves me. I am praising Him for a morning of learning and laughing, worshipping and talking to God with my sweet class.
This morning a little friend of mine ask me "what is your favorite food"? I told her pizza! Her favorite is "lollipops"! Now that is awesome! I am going to get myself some pasketti and ummm a orange lollipop!

  1. That sounds so like you. Enjoy those kids. I get really upset at those who suggest that kids just can't learn about the Bible. They don't understand concepts and you have to keep it really simple. Duh!! Kids are easier to teach than adults. If the teacher is interesting... they learn. Keep up the good work. They will remember what you taught them long after you have moved on somewhere else. I have people remind me ever once in awhile what they learned in childrens church and that's been many, many years ago! Love you.
