Dinner and a Movie

It was a "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" kind of evening at Calvary Chapel! The middle school kids are going on a missions trip to South Dakota and this was a fund raiser for them. It was a really nice evening outside as they served salad and lasagna. It was so cool to watch them serving with such servant's hearts! Mark and I talked about what we would want it to rain if we could put in our order for food to fall from the sky. We both said PIZZA! It was windy so when the screen fell over the kids took turns holding it up. WOW! It was so neat to watch them serve and work together as a team. They are going to be an amazing blessing on their missions trip. They are already working as a team and that gets the Lord's work done and honors Him. The movie and popcorn was great. We laughed and really had fun. As they said in the movie " we have a deim to carpe ". Thats what we want to do each day for the Lord!
