These last days...

Jesse, James, Richard, and I went to a village to address some issues of concern raised by the local community. Claims were made that could not be proven and were clearly unfounded. Praise be to God that the pastor's name was cleared of all claims against him! Although the local community was incited against him, God came to the pastor's rescue as the local church members stood up to defend him.

Mark returned to Remand prison with the ministry team to fellowship and worship with our fellow brothers in Christ and to hear the teaching of God's Word by Steven, the local prison pastor. The men asked for continued prayer for them. During the Wednesday night service, we shared in communion and fellowship with one another. We began to say good-bye to some dear freiends and the Ugandan people will remain in our hearts.

Today we are packing to return to the states. In the middle of the packing, we took a break to catch a couple thieves that have been stealing from the compound. If it were not for some protection by Jesse and JB, the locals would have beaten them severally. So, back to the packing...

Please pray for our safe return to the states. Thank you all so very much for all of your prayers and the gifts that you sacrificaially gave. The people here have asked us to give you a warm greeting to thank you for your gifts of love and they asked for your continued prayers for them.

We have been blessed by the ministry here. We think we are ministering to them but in reality they are ministering to us. Thank you for investing in the lives of the Ugandan people. Several men and women received Christ during our visit. To God be the Glory!

  1. I am confident that those in Jinja were blessed by your visit. Jesus said that His kingdom would be comprised of people from all nations and tongues. Can't wait to see those new brothers and sisters some day. We will be praying for your safe return. Keep looking up, Jim.
