Hard Core Mommy

We started the day with "Staff Prayer". I attended the Wise Women's Bible Study in the afternoon. During the study I got to hold a little one named Sarah and then i gave her a little cap and blanket as a gift from America. It was a blessing to the mommy and brought her great joy.


I did something today that I have wanted to do for a few years. It was the most scary thing I have ever done in my life. Jesse jumped first and he did awesome. Then I went out to the edge and thought "no way, this is crazy". It was exhilarating fun and the scenery was beautiful! It felt so wild and stinkin' scary to jump off the edge. Fly like an eagle!! I did it! So sweet! I still cant believe it. Bungee in the Nile! It was hard core! It was a total leap of faith!


Today was Mark's birthday! It was nice for him to celebrate in Africa! We took him out for pizza and Irege baked him a carrot cake. He got cards from the staff and a shirt from Jesse and Bev. What a blessed day!
